Laureen Moncrief
Armor-bearers

Mission:
Support the ministers of the gospel and provide help to the household of faith.

Vision:
The Armor bearers seek to provide service in humility and strive to be a more effective, more prayerful auxiliary in Capital Temple. 

Mission:
Provide quality audio/video production that will enhance the worship experience of the people of God in a live setting. To serve the overall ministries of the church and work in unity with the church’s vision.

Vision
The vision of the CT Media Ministry is to become a global resource and mediator of God’s word by providing quality internet, print, audio, and video elements to the glory of God.

Scripture

Jason Rutledge
Men’s Department (Gideon’s Army)

Mission:
The Men of Gideon’s Army exists to edify the House of God and build up the Body of Christ through activities that define character, build morale, promote unity, and challenge authenticity of faith through living a life of accountability.

Vision:
The Men of Gideon’s Army will discover their driving purpose, walk by faith, protect the spoken Word of God, and enhance the social and spiritual needs of their respectful homes and communities.

Kathleen Gorham
Music Department

Mission:
To fulfill the mandate set by God according to Psalm 95 and to fill the house of God with the sound of praise.

Vision:
To equip the singers and musicians with the tools they will need to give a more excellent praise unto our God.

William Taylor and Tajonna Patterson
Outreach Department

Mission:
Courageously represent God through witness, discipleship, and service to others. Showing God’s love, we strive to reach the unsaved, hungry, homeless, hurting, and broken hearted.

Vision:
Joyfully celebrate a wide spectrum of opportunities for creating the connection between Christ, our congregation, and our community. We seek to connect people with the ministry on all levels, youth and adults.

Sheryl Taylor
Sunday School Department
 
Mission:
The purpose of the Sunday School Department is to help provide foundational teaching and help provide an understanding of the Word of God.  The Sunday school provides a welcoming atmosphere of education in which questions can be answered regardless of age or experience.
 
Vision:
Our goal is to equip the saints of God in the knowledge of God, teaching them to apply God's Word to every Situation and endeavor they may embark upon.  We seek to teach in such a way that the participants grow to be confident in their knowledge of the Word of God and be a light in a dark world.

Christina Henderson
Women’s Department (Covenant Sisters)

Mission:
To commit ourselves to a sanctified life through holiness; bearing the fruit of the spirit as we draw others to the cross.

Vision:
To comfort, cover, and care for Women of God of all ages and backgrounds; to be transformed to the image of Christ, preparing for the Bridegroom.

Jacqueline Montegut
Ushers

Mission:
The mission of Capital Temple Ushers is to serve, as doorkeepers and make all who enter the sanctuary feel welcome. Our goal is to be servants of Christ knowing that our service is as unto the Lord, and not to men. Greeting everyone with a smile and warm welcome, ushers assist members and visitors with seating and ensure their comfort while in the sanctuary.

Vision:
Our vision is to follow and be obedient to the vision God has given to our Pastors for the church. It is our desire to strive toward exceeding the level of expectancy our pastors have set for us by being faithful and consistent in our position. We desire to expand the usher ministry with willing workers who truly want to see Capital Temple Ministries grow through their love for Christ and the church.

Cheryl Jackson
Youth and Young Adults

Mission:
To provide Youth and Young Adults of Capital Temple Ministries with spiritual knowledge of the Bible by developing a personal relationship with God through the primary, pre-teen, teenage and Young Adult classes. The Youth and Young Adult Department optimizes the experiences of our youth and love for one another through monthly fellowships, and neighborhood outreach events.

Vision:
To provide the Youth and Young Adults of Capital Temple Ministries with introductory, intermediate and advanced studies in spiritual knowledge of the Bible, roles and responsibilities of membership in the body of Christ, along with Christian living; including how to develop a personal relationship with God.  To enhance the experiences of our youth through fellowship, love for one another, service to God, and being a witness for Christ while operating under the apprenticeship of the young adult ministries, and within the overall vision and goals of The Capital Temple Ministries.

Greeters

Vision:
To glorify God by extending a warm welcome to every person entering GOD’S House “A Place of Refreshing”, with the love of God through the Holy Spirit.

Mission:
The Greeter is committed to laboring as servants of hospitality with all ministries to enhance the worship experience and MAGNIFY God’s name in the process. This welcoming ministry is designed to make all first time guests and members feel welcome.
